Illya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk called Alexander “Rue” Filin’s move to the position five role completely natural and said he is happy they will now play together on the same lane.
The
Team Spirit carry talked about this during an interview at DreamLeague Season 29.
“I would say he plays really well as a position five. He was born to be a five player. And because he has so much experience as a four, we can punish the enemy position four on lane, because he knows exactly what they want to do. And I agree, we can kill opponents. So I’m happy to lane with him. I like it.
I think he’s a skilled player who can play both roles. He’s a natural position five player. At the same time, he’s very good with map movements. I think in that way he’s a very flexible player”
The two-time Dota 2 world champion admitted that he is happy about Rue’s role change. According to him, Rue is a very flexible player and should perform well as a support. Yatoro also predicts that their duo will be especially effective against enemy position four players.
He explained that Rue is extremely versatile, while his previous role experience will help them predict opponents actions in upcoming matches.
