Ilya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk, the former carry of
Team Spirit, admitted that he went inactive due to fatigue that had been building up for a long time.
The esports athlete shared this during a Twitch stream.
"Is it hard to make the decision to go inactive? Not really. It just builds up. It accumulates, and you realize that you can no longer perform at the same level"
According to him, he had long experienced accumulated fatigue and possibly negative emotions, which hindered his ability to play as he used to. The two-time world champion confessed that the decision to leave the pro scene came quite easily due to these reasons.
He hinted at this in his first message to fans, mentioning that he had accumulated negativity from spending a long time with his teammates and could no longer evaluate their gameplay as he did before.
Recall that Yatoro previously gave an honest assessment of
Team Spirit new roster, discussing its prospects on the Dota 2 pro scene.
