Yatoro revealed the real reason for changing his nickname in Dota 2

Ilya 'Yatoro' Mulyarchuk, the carry for Team Spirit, admitted that he changed his nickname to Raddan after watching Elden Ring streams, where he learned about the boss Starscourge Radahn.

Such a statement was made during an interview at Riyadh Masters 2024.

"Over the past few months, I've been watching Elden Ring streams. I liked the name of one of the bosses. It was Starscourge Radahn, and that's the name I took"

He also admitted to watching a relatively unknown streamer, Kindly_Miquella, who has around 10 thousand followers. He enjoys playing Souls-like games. It was during his stream of the Starscourge Radahn boss that Team Spirit carry was inspired to change his nickname in Dota 2.

However, earlier, Raddan also revealed the hidden meaning behind his new nickname, mentioning that it's also an abbreviation.
