Team Spirit had negotiations with Ivan "Pure" Moskalenko to join their roster after Ilya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk left, but Pure preferred to play for a team from Western Europe (WEU).
This statement was made by Dmitry "Korb3n" Belov, the manager of
Team Spirit, during a Twitch stream.
"We were in talks with Pure. Was it important for him to stay in a team from Eastern Europe? He wanted to play in Western Europe"
Korb3n did not go into details about the negotiations, but the deal did not work out. Instead of Pure, the team decided to sign Alan "Satanic" Gallyamov, who had long been rumored to replace Yatoro. According to Korb3n, Pure was interested in playing for a WEU team, such as
Tundra Esports, which is why the transfer didn’t happen.
Pure has yet to comment on this statement and will be playing as the carry for
BetBoom Team in the upcoming season.
