Ilia "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk, the carry for
Team Spirit, had his smurf account blocked as part of the ban wave from Dota 2. He managed to play over a thousand matches on it, but this constitutes a violation of the rules.
This was reported by Aldar "Jamba" Djambinov, the manager of
9 Pandas, in a post on his Telegram channel.
According to the information provided, other renowned players also fell under the ban. Now Yatoro will have to play only from his main account. Apparently, the professional player used a smurf to practice new heroes, but even on that account, he had an impressive win rate of 57.81%, according to DotaBuff data.
As a reminder, Valve has blocked numerous smurf accounts of professional players, as it violates Dota 2 rules.
