Ilya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk, the former carry of
Team Spirit, believes that the new roster is not in the best mental state, which is affecting their performance during matches. Additionally, the younger players are making serious mistakes.
The two-time Dota 2 world champion shared this during a stream on Twitch.
"Satanic is playing well. The team needs to pull themselves together because they seem to be falling apart. Today they won two series. Maybe this will help them mentally. And you can’t push the high ground against five opponents. People should be scolded for that. Non-violently, of course"
According to Yatoro, the team needs more confidence, and winning series will help solidify the lineup. He also praised the play of Alan "Satanic" Gallyamov, the new carry of
Team Spirit. However, Yatoro joked that the team is making critical mistakes when pushing the high ground, for which they should be disciplined.
It's possible that after their losses in the DreamLeague Season 24 qualifiers, the team might take some advice from Yatoro to improve their results in upcoming matches.
Previously, Yatoro gave an honest assessment of
Team Spirit new roster and commented on its prospects in the Dota 2 pro scene.
