However, according to Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk, the hero has a number of significant drawbacks. The esports player believes that Kez is vulnerable to summons, and the hero lacks damage on the lane. The character is also easily countered by Beastmaster and is quite difficult to play against Lycan.

“He suffers from summons, he lacks damage on the line. It will be impossible to stand against Beastmaster. Against Lycan, it's better, but still difficult. And you can't take him into BKB control at all.”
