Ilya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk said that the victory over Virtus.pro in the first match of the PGL Wallachia 2024 Season 1 tournament was quite easy for the squad. The opponent gave the Yatoro roster the heroes they wanted at the first card draft stage.

Team Spirit's carry shared his opinion with the subscribers of the team's official Telegram channel in a video message.

"We beat Virtus.pro 2:0, the series was relatively easy. In the first map they gave us the heroes we wanted to take. We weren't sure about the choice of kerry, but in the end everything worked out well.

In the second map they had FP, all the offense was through Mars, but we answered them well in our forest. Because of that it was plus or minus easy to play: it's hard for them to attack Sniper, we ended up having just a couple successful fights, they started splitting us. After that we just finished.

The previous ESL One Birmingham 2024 tournament did not end well for the team. Team Spirit played all group stage matches to a draw and then left the tournament due to the worst result during the replay.
