Yatoro admitted that Team Spirit was losing due to his mistakes: player's statement

Ilya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk, the carry for Team Spirit, admitted that his team lost some maps during the group stage of BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 due to his mistakes.

The Dota 2 world champion shared this information in a new vlog released by Team Spirit on the club's YouTube channel.

"I think we could have won all the maps. I can't say that we had a very bad draft on any map. Perhaps the Anti-Mage game was challenging, but we could have won it. We lost because of my mistakes"

He emphasized that all players lacked sufficient motivation for victory. However, in the first map against Azure Ray, the team lost precisely due to Yatoro's mistakes, as admitted by the esports athlete himself.

"We gave away a lot of maps that were in our hands. I wouldn't say that in the group stage, we were beaten without a chance even once. We could win all the time, but we gave away maps"

The Dota 2 world champion also stated that Team Spirit could have won all the maps, but they still relinquished victories, as evident during the group stage.
