Yatoro addressed his fans with an unexpected confession

Ilya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk, former carry of Team Spirit, admitted that he enjoys playing with low MMR players ("thousanders") more because they truly enjoy Dota 2.

This statement was made during the esports player's stream on Twitch.

"Man, there's soul in the thousanders, you know? They play worse, but they don’t care. They play with heart"

Moreover, the two-time world champion clarified that playing with professionals is not interesting. According to Yatoro, they are too cautious about their performances, overthinking every move, and not enjoying the game.

"The nerds are just sitting there. Playing with Cottle, Storm, and Beast. Everyone stacks, farms, plays carefully. What’s the point? Guys, enjoy the game. Playing Dota like that is total nonsense"

He also urged fans to play the way they enjoy, rather than meticulously tracking every move just to gain more MMR. Yatoro believes the game should be fun.
