Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk, Team Spirit’s carry, thanked his fans in a playful manner, reworking rapper Oxxxymiron’s speech from an award ceremony, and noted that he was able to reach the top and become a world champion thanks to the faith of the community.

The two-time Dota 2 world champion shared this in his Telegram channel.

“99% of those who are in this public group know who I am, and those who see this on their phone screens also know who I am. That’s good and right. A year ago, I lived on the outskirts of Belgrade in a room with cockroaches, bedbugs, and a single mouse that lived in the oven. Next to me, a tattoo artist from the Baltics named Vsevolod was renting a room.

The fact that I’m standing here today is thanks to those who voted for me in the Korben public group and in various other votes, those who support my team and have backed me over the past years. I want to say thank you to them — actually, I want to say thank you to you, my friends. This is just as much yours as it is mine. See you at tournaments, thanks! Happy New Year!”

Yatoro playfully reworked Oxxxymiron’s speech, changing London to Belgrade and swapping the tattoo artist’s name from Sanya to Vsevolod. In the end, the champion thanked his fans, noting that if they hadn’t voted for him at the start of his career, he wouldn’t have achieved everything he has today.

He congratulated the Dota 2 community on the upcoming 2026 New Year, wishing fans all the best and saying that they will still see him at tournaments.
