Xxs tells what saved Xtreme Gaming from crashing out at ESL One Birmingham

Lin ‘Xxs’ Jin admitted that his team was a hair’s breadth away from elimination in their match against Gaimin Gladiators because of the failures on day one, and that Keeper of the Light — the hero he played in this game — helped them recover.

The offlaner shared his thoughts during a post-match interview at ESL One Birmingham 2024 broadcasted on Twitch.

“We were so close to being sent home, so we had to pick Keeper of the Light and win this game,” Lin said.

Xtreme Gaming started group stage matches at ESL One Birmingham 2024 with a series of failures. They lost all regular Day 1 games and then drew against Team Spirit. To have an opportunity for playoffs, Xtreme Gaming had to win next two matches.
