Dataminers believe that Valve is unlikely to release a global patch, but in 2-3 weeks there should be a major update with a holiday event, possibly Diretide.
This was reported by Kirill “Fay” Serdyukov on his Telegram channel.
“Oops, the staging server (which is updated before major updates) has received an update. It's too early for a global post-Intestine patch, but there may be a new event or something for Halloween. In general, we are expecting content in about two to three weeks”
Fay noted that the server responsible for major updates has been updated, but emphasized that a global patch is not to be expected. According to him, the next update will be related to an event and will bring new content, but it will not be a major post-Intersection patch.

Valve itself has not yet made any official announcements, but analysts suggest that the new patch may even feature a new hero, Bard Frog.
