Alimzhan "Watson" Islambekov, the carry for
Cloud9, confirmed that he has no intention of leaving the Dota 2 pro scene and announced that a new roster for his team will be revealed soon.
The esports player shared this during a Twitch stream.
“Where am I supposed to go for a break? What am I resting from? In the first six months, we didn’t qualify for any LANs, only at the end for Riyadh and TI”
He also confirmed that the roster announcement for his team is likely to happen this week. However, he did not specify whether he remains with
Cloud9 or has joined another team. Earlier, there were insider reports suggesting that Watson would replace Anton "Dyrachyo" Shkredov in
Gaimin Gladiators. Additionally, there were rumors that C9 might buy the entire GG roster. However, there is still no official confirmation of this information.
Recall that previously, Marcus "Ace" Helgard was spotted in a Cloud9 jersey, but there’s a nuance.
