Virtus.pro named the reason for replacing sayuw with Antares

StrangeR said that the Virtus.pro Dota 2 squad required a refreshment because the team had reached a deadlock; he also mentioned that Vladislav “Antares” Kertman joining the rooster would provide them with the possibility of growing even more.

The head of the Dota 2 roster at Virtus.pro shared this opinion via his personal Telegram channel for subscribers only.

“I’d like to expand on why we are making a change here.

We have been keeping this roster for over a year and during this time we were betting on growth and work within the team. However, currently we lack results that both players and fans are expecting from us.

The team needs some new air, new drive to achieve something bigger. That’s why we decided to change one position right now.”

In addition to that StrangeR has wished good luck to Oleg “sayuw” Kalenbet who left VP after being replaced by Antares in hopes it will bring positive outcomes for both sides; he stated that each member together with a coach bears responsibility for what they show on stage yet does not blame sayuw since he sees him as someone who became an innocent victim of circumstances during such situation.

Vladislav “Antares” Kertman himself also commented on his transfer to Virtus.pro earlier today.
