Former Virtus.pro CEO and ESforce co-founder has passed away

On Saturday, July 22, 2023, Anton "Sneg1" Cherepennikov, the former head of the esports organization Virtus.pro, co-founder of the ESforce holding, and head of IKS Holding, passed away at the age of 40. The preliminary cause is cardiac arrest.

Sneg1 led the esports organization Virtus.pro from 2011 to 2019. In 2015, with money from Alisher Usmanov, Sneg1 founded the esports holding ESforce together with the founder of the organization Natus Vincere, Alexander "ZeroGravity" Kohanovsky. In 2018, Anton Cherepennikov became the owner of the company "IKS Holding".
