Nikolai Petrosyan, CEO of Virtus.pro, stated that the team indeed held negotiations with Alexey "Solo" Berezin regarding a potential transfer, but due to certain nuances, they were unable to reach an agreement.

This admission was made during a live broadcast on Twitch.

"We made an inquiry to 9Pandas about Solo. We received the 'green light' to start negotiations. I can't reveal all the details as they are of a non-sporting and non-financial nature, but there were specific nuances that we discussed for quite some time"

It is noted that the negotiations lasted quite a while, and while the sporting and financial aspects were not an issue, there were other factors that the CEO of Virtus.pro did not disclose.

"At some point, Alexey got tired, and we also felt deflated, as we realized that these circumstances were insurmountable. So, we mutually distanced ourselves from each other. Nevertheless, we maintain a respectful relationship with Solo"

Judging by the words of VP management, they were unable to finalize the deal for Solo, although they maintain respectful relations with him. It is possible that the negotiations may continue in the future, and Solo could still transfer to Virtus.pro. The star player from 9 Pandas has yet to comment on the situation.

Earlier, it was reported that 9 Pandas had changed their roster and signed a former Team Secret player.
