The lead admin of the last DPC season in North America, and now Southeast Asia, James «NeeNaw» Nener, tweeted that Valve has unbanned some Wind and Rain players.
NeeNaw:
For anyone who don't know who I am. I was the lead admin for NA DPC last season, and I am the lead admin for the upcoming SEA DPC. I'd just like to make it clear that Szabo, Steel-_-Borco и P1 are all OFFICIALLY no longer banned from Valve events
If teams are looking for players for the upcoming NA Open qualifiers, I cannot suggest these players enough. Whatever your views/opinions are of these players, they have now been found not guilty of any Match Fixing by VALVE.
Szabo:
Just so happy this was corrected and the right thing was done . Thank you to everyone involved that help with this process . I cannot thank you enough <3. With that being said I am currently looking for a team.
Last DPC season, players from the Wind and Rain and Pecado Squad Gaming teams received a lifetime ban from Valve and Beyond the Summit tournaments. They were suspected of match-fixing. Now three of them are innocent and can take part in any tournaments, including the DPC league. The rest of the players are still considered guilty.
