Information has appeared that Valve have started mass banning CS2 accounts that were caught farming boosting, and using cheats.
This was reported on the CS2 Vaccoin page on X, where they share the developers success in fighting rule breakers.
It is noted that most of the bans were given to farmer accounts that abuse 5x5 modes, as well as cheaters. Notably, among the banned accounts there was one with an inventory worth $200,000.

It is also pointed out on social media that the developers usually launch ban waves before major updates, which are often connected to the release of new skins in CS2.
Recall that earlier it also became known that Valve may be preparing a new event in Dota 2.
