Valve should seriously consider revamping the unranked MM! — y0nd

Professional player and streamer Gleb "y0nd" Vazhnov is dissatisfied with how game matchmaking is structured in unranked mode in Dota 2. The streamer has contemplated writing a letter to Valve, suggesting that the system in unranked should not consider the player's MMR. He shared his thoughts on Twitch.
I had the idea last night to write a whole letter to Valve about how to play when I get invited by people from a studio to party up, and they have a MMR range of 3000-4000-5000 PTS. And I want to play with them, but in unranked it still searches by MMR. And they end up playing against 7-8-9 thousand MMR players when they party up with me if I'm on my main.
y0nd also pointed out that due to Valve's efforts to combat smurfs, he is unable to play with his friends on his second account:
If I'm on a smurf account, technically I can't do that because it's against Valve's rules. How? How am I supposed to play? No one knows how to find a solution for high-ranking players. How to play in a party with friends who don't have as many MMR points, let's call it that.
Although a large percentage of Dota 2 players primarily play in ranked mode, the situation described by y0nd can indeed be less pleasant. We can only hope for updates and improvements to our beloved game from the Dota 2 developers.
Earlier, we discussed the reflections of NS regarding Pudge in Dota 2, particularly in ranked games.
