Valve responded to the unusual outcome of The International 2025 matches, noting that none of the millions of predictions for the championship turned out to be perfectly accurate, and only 0.2% of fans were able to correctly predict which teams would advance to the playoffs.
The Dota 2 developers published this message on the game's official website.
"We would like to congratulate those who correctly predicted the placements of all sixteen teams on the Road to The International. That is... no one. Imagine, not one of the millions and millions of predictions turned out to be perfect. (Even ten correct positions were predicted by only 0.02% of players - if you are one of them, you have something to be proud of.) And if your success in fantasy and predictions for the Road to The International leave much to be desired, do not miss the chance to try again at the main stage"
Valve noted that millions of players made their predictions for the outcome of the TI14 group stage, but none of them were able to accurately predict the results. The developers emphasized that only 0.2% of players guessed the outcome of the matches for ten teams.
Valve also reminded that predictions for the playoffs of The International 2025, which starts on September 11, are starting.
Recall that Topias "Topson" Taavitsainen previously said who would become the champion of The International 2025 after Team Spirit's elimination.
