Valve has released a small but important update for Dota 2, addressing a critical bug related to
Legion Commander.
This was reported by
Team Spirit analyst Mark "Sikle" Lerman in his Telegram channel:
“A bug with Legion Commander has been fixed, where pure damage (which ignores immunity) was able to go through her ultimate when using Aghanim’s Scepter. Also, the animation and visual effects of Storm Spirit’s Static Remnant have been improved.”
In addition, a new visual effect was added to
Storm Spirit remnant when using the aspect that enhances Vortex — it now resembles the effect from the second aspect. Outdated talent strings for
Legion Commander were also removed from the game files.
The update also included changes to localization and game settings. However, many players were once again disappointed, as the patch didn’t bring any new content — no Battle Pass or Compendium 2025.
As a reminder, a hero with an 80% win rate was recently discovered at Riyadh Masters 2025.
