Valve released a mini-patch aimed at strengthening and fixing bugs related to Kez, the new hero in Dota 2.
The hero had been significantly weaker than others in matchmaking, with a win rate below 30%, which likely pushed the developers to address the situation urgently. Several gameplay-impacting bugs were also fixed.
Full list of changes:
Base armor increased from 0 to 2.
Base movement speed increased from 315 to 320.
Attack speed of Falcon Rush for Sai decreased from 1.3/1.2/1.1/1.0 to 1.2/1.1/1.0/0.9.
Fixed a bug where Falcon Rush could target units outside its range.
Fixed a bug where Falcon Rush ignored the attack speed limit.
Following the update, the situation has improved significantly, with Kez’s win rate rising to 43.48% and continuing to increase.
It’s worth noting that Kez has become a unique Dota 2 hero with the ability to use up to 9 abilities.
