Valve may release patch 7.38 as early as this week

Valve has been using the test servers of Dota 2, which makes it feel like a new patch 7.38 is about to be dropped or a new treasure addition for the Chinese New Year is on the way.

This can be seen from the updates made in the GitHub page for the developers.

In this case, it was noted the experimental server associated with the game had more than 6 updates in a single day, which usually implies that the developers are ready to release a patch or game update. However, we do not know exactly when the patch will go live. The test changes began on January 28, and normally a patch will be released a few days after such updates are made. Some dataminers are anticipating the patch 7.38 to be around January 29 -30.

It is also possible that Valve has been working on an event for the Chinese New Year which is similar to what happened last year. The actions some developers have made like those pertaining to the Hero Arcanas could also point to this.

Earlier it was said that there was an event concerning an unfamiliar Arcana which could be available in Dota 2 after a while.
