Valve may be preparing to release a major patch for Dota 2 this week, as indicated by unexpected activity on the game’s servers.
This was noticed by Reddit users, who shared a corresponding screenshot.
The image shows that an update has already been uploaded to Dota 2 servers and is actively being tested. This kind of activity typically occurs before the release of significant updates or patches. The post's author speculates that the developers might be preparing to release not just a minor letter patch but a major numbered one. This could mean that Dota 2 might be updated to version 7.38 this week, bringing numerous gameplay changes.

However, there has been no official announcement about the patch yet. This activity could also simply indicate testing for new features or changes that the developers plan to implement in the future.
If the speculations about the patch are accurate, it could be released on November 21–22, as major Dota 2 updates are often scheduled for Thursdays or Fridays.
It’s worth noting that Valve has already released an update that altered Act 4 of Crownfall, significantly increasing its difficulty.
