Dota 2 Patch 7.38

Valve might be preparing to release a major update or even patch 7.38 for Dota 2, as indicated by increased activity on the game's servers.

This was noticed by dataminers on SteamDB.

It was reported that the game client has already been updated four times, and usually, such activity with updates could indicate preparations for the launch of a significant update, which might be released as early as the night of August 21st to 22nd.

Players are speculating that Valve could launch the fourth act of Crownfall, possibly even release the full patch 7.38, or even introduce a new hero – Ringmaster. Similar server activity in Dota 2 has been observed in the past when developers were preparing to release the Fallen Crown and other major updates.

However, this is not a guarantee, and the developers might simply be preparing the client for a patch or update, which could be released much later.

It’s worth noting that earlier, Valve significantly revamped Dota Plus in response to player criticism. The community had complained about paid builds, and the developers addressed the issue.
