Valve have added an innovation for cyber athletes in the new Dota 2 update, and now the post-match stats will display the player's pro nickname.
Now after each match, when the stats are displayed, it will show the pro player's nickname instead of just their Dota 2 signature. It is unknown exactly why the developers decided to change the interface in such a way.
It is worth noting that this is not the first separation of cyber athletes and regular players. Previously, the developers made it so that all players with high MMR-rating are not displayed on statistical sites, and their replays are no longer available to the public.
