Valve has released an update for Dota 2 Crownfall: full list of changes

The developers of Dota 2 have released a new update called Fallen Crown, which has completely transformed the gameplay. One of the main innovations is the new holiday event called Crownfall.

The storyline event Crownfall - Ascension

The first part of the adventure called CrownFall has started in Dota 2. Players are sent to an interactive map where they will need to complete various mini-games and quests. Players will be rewarded with tokens for successfully completing each task.

The event will offer three different types of rewards, including Arcana items, treasures, and more. The event will consist of four parts, with only the first part available initially. The second part is planned for release in May.

Among the rewards will be new Arcanas for Skywrath Mage and Vengeful Spirit, corresponding to their appearances from the comic. The number of task types in the event is currently unknown, but the presentation on the official website showcases an interactive map with numerous possibilities, including fishing.

Crownfall Treasure Chest

In addition to the main storyline event, developers have also introduced two new treasure chests specifically created for this event. They will contain new emotes, arcanas, and a variety of other cosmetic items. Among the main rewards are arcanas for Skywrath Mage and Vengeful Spirit.

Each treasure chest contains 13 sets, with five of them having rare or higher value statuses. Special sets have been introduced for Drow Ranger, Hoodwink, Ursa, Zeus, Anti-Mage, Wraith King, and Crystal Maiden.

New Crownfall Arcanas

In addition to two arcanas and two alternative styles for Skywrath Mage and Vengeful Spirit, both items available for $35, there are also 12 new arcanas. These can be obtained by opening Treasure Chests, which can be purchased in the store.

While all arcanas have their own unique features, players are particularly interested in Meepo in a chicken costume, which is likely to become one of the most popular skins in the Crownfall update.
