Valve has finally revealed the key details of The International 2024

Valve has announced the first details of The International 2024, where 16 of the best teams from around the world will compete this year.

The official announcement was published on the Dota 2 website.

The 16 teams will be divided into 4 groups. The group stage will follow a round-robin format with best-of-three (bo3) matches. After the group stage, as was the case with TI12, there will be seeding matches to determine which teams will advance to the upper bracket and which will go to the lower bracket.

The main part of the World Championship, the playoffs, will take place from September 8th to 15th, with the final three days of the tournament being held at the Royal Arena.

"The group compositions for the Road to The International will be announced in 10 days," Valve's website reports. It is expected that the groups will be revealed on September 1st or 2nd.

As a reminder, Valve recently released the Compendium 2024, dedicated to TI13 and the new hero, Ringmaster.
