Valve have announced that patch 7.39 has fixed the dead creep glitch bug in Dota 2, which has been in the game for 13 years.
This is stated on the official Dota 2 website.
The developers joked that it took them 13 years to fix the bug. The problem really existed for a long time and periodically caused complaints from players, although it occurred infrequently.

Players noted that while farming in the forest, they could be attacked by invisible creeps that dealt damage but were not displayed on the screen. They could not be selected as a target for abilities, although AOE abilities continued to work against them.
Now the developers have confirmed that the bug has been finally eliminated, and invisible creeps will no longer attack heroes.
Recall that earlier Vladimir “Maelstorm” Kuzminov pointed out one of the key nuances of patch 7.39.
