Valve finally fixed the issue with ward models, and now it will be much easier to select them as targets.

“Models of 63 wards have been fixed, namely the minimum size of selection boxes was set. Previously some wards didn’t have such boundaries, which made it quite difficult to click on them. The era of the Stone Bound Watcher ward, which every team had, is over”

It’s worth noting that many players had complained about this for years, because a ward placed in the right spot on the map was sometimes impossible to select as a target. Now the situation has changed and ward models have received more volumetric boundaries, which are easier to click, and thus to destroy.

The analyst reminded that the Stone Bound Watcher was especially elusive, and it was often used in official matches. Sikle noted that Valve didn’t fix models for all wards, and there are still some that can be abused, but he won’t reveal them for now.
