Valve asked the organizers of Dota Pro Circuit 2021/2022 in Eastern Europe (CIS), Epic Esports Events, to change the tournament logo. The reason - the logo may violate the legislation of Ukraine.
Ukrainian legislation prohibits the propaganda of communism, including in the form of Soviet symbols. The prototype for the Pudge logo was a USSR pioneer badge with Lenin.
