Valve has abandoned the Dota Pro Circuit system, which means that there is no longer a roster lock, and reshuffles will become a very common occurrence in the new Dota 2 season.

Commentator Vladimir "Maelstorm" Kuzminov made this remark on his Telegram.

"The reshuffle should not be viewed the same way as in the past. With no roster lock, we can expect shuffles throughout the year. It's a return to the chaos of old times, which I've missed a bit"

According to him, player transfers are no longer as significant a decision as they were in the previous season. Now, both clubs and players have more freedom in this regard.
