After the addition of the new hero Largo to Dota 2, it turned out that his ultimate ability Amphibian Rhapsody is a rather complex key-pressing mini game required for activation.
While using the ultimate, the hero must accurately and on time hit the notes to perform a song that boosts the entire team. A special indicator in the form of a musical instrument appears on the screen, and the player’s task is to press the right button at the right moment.
While the ultimate is active Largo cannot attack, and all his standard abilities are replaced by three notes, each responsible for a specific buff for allies: movement speed, health regeneration and attack bonus. However, these effects only trigger if the player successfully completes the QTE and does not miss.
With
Aghanims Scepter, it becomes possible to activate two buffs at the same time. And with flawless execution of the ultimate, an additional buff is applied to Largo, increasing his armor and reducing mana costs.
It is worth noting that despite this ultimate being difficult to use during matches, and especially in teamfights, the complexity is rewarded with powerful buffs. Largo is even compared to Invoker, who also requires precise and skillful key pressing.
Earlier, it was reported that Largo became the first hero in Dota 2 history to receive both
Aghanims Scepter and
Aghanims Shard immediately at release.
