TpaBoMaH created his own team and bet against it, leading to unfortunate consequences

Acclaimed streamer Timur "TraVoMan" Khafizov placed a bet of around $350 dollars against his own team when his newly formed media team RABOTYAGI was set to compete in a match against Bikini Bottom during the European Pro League Season 25. This bet was made as Khafizov had already created the media team RABOTYAGI, which was predicted to succeed.

The scenario led to the team being disqualified as RABOTYAGI lost 1-2. It was a good move for Khafizov as he won teh bet only for the bookmakers to refund the match bets shortly after owing to the appalling quality of the game. Khafizov invariably disappearing when he contested the wager resulted in unanticipated consequences.

Subsequently, Vyacheslav “asdekor_r” Ignatiev, the support player for Khafizov’s team published a note where he captioned that “TraVoMan” intended no harm for the team and claimed the entire situation was terribly mishandled.

“Timur simply didn’t know,'' he said. ***“We are waiting patiently for the next tournament which I hope doesn’t have a negative impact because we certainly weren’t aware.”

He later apologized publicly to the community and the team saying ***“I and my team take responsibility for the wager. There were no ill intents “*** claiming to be unaware of the consequences he would face after his bet.

"Guys, esports was more chaotic than I was expecting. It has been six years ‘sitting’ in the sports betting industry, where I created pools and predicted which teams would reach the finals and which would not. But with my team, I am unable to do that. You don’t want to bet against RABOTYAGI because it seems like you hope they lose. The guys just got eliminated from the tournament. These have been eye-opening realities for me. Such outcomes are not exactly pleasant and I need to apologize to my team and community for this. Who would have thought? This is something I could have avoided. After looking the rules over, there was no explanation for why they got eliminated. Guess I will not be betting against my boys anymore, but the policies could be more lenient."

The long term prospects for RABOTYAGI are still unclear. The esports club has not been able to make any noticeable achievements to date, and although they play in online tournaments, they do not come close to winning any prizes.

It should be pointed out that previously Tundra Esports announced one more change of their roster after Anton “Dyrachyo” Shkredov has left the team.
