TORONTOTOKYO Names the Most Overpowered Hero in the Current Dota 2 Meta

Alexander “TORONTOTOKYO” Hertek considers Dragon Knight to be overpowered in the current Dota 2 meta.

“Dragon Knight is a solid, strong hero. How do you counter him? Just like all other heroes, each one has its own counters. I wouldn’t say there’s anything that really counters Dragon Knight that strongly. He’s overpowered right now. There are heroes Dragon Knight struggles against—for example, Winter Wyvern in the early game—but once you have Aghanim’s Scepter and Octarine Core, it doesn’t matter anymore. You just need heroes with some kind of insane damage output. Shadow Demon is probably a super-counter, since you can kill Dragon Knight with her ultimate. But overall, there doesn’t seem to be any truly incredible counter.”

According to Alexander “TORONTOTOKYO” Hertek, it’s possible to come up with a fairly effective counter-pick against Dragon Knight, just as with most heroes, but when it comes to countering this character, there’s no optimal solution that will help secure a significant advantage.
