TORONTOTOKYO recalled the emotions of defeat at the Riyadh Masters 2023

Alexander “TORONTOTOKYO” Hertek said that he didn't have feelings of envy after BetBoom Team won the BLAST Slam, but admitted that he was jealous of Team Spirit after the team was able to win the Riyadh Masters 2023 because he felt that his squad could have been in their shoes.

The player made a statement to this effect on YouTube.

“To be honest, I don't have the feeling of envy anymore. Those feelings were there when Spirit won the Riyadh Masters 2023. I felt like we could have won that tournament too - I was more offended for us. There are a lot of tournaments now, I'm on good terms with the guys. I wouldn't say that I had any negative emotions. I was happy that Vital Save finally won the tournament. He really wanted it.”

Alexander “TORONTOTOKYO” Hertek also reflected on the results of the past BetBoom Team lineup, which many in the gaming community consider a failure. According to the player's statement, although the team had problems, which resulted in replacements, still the composition was among the top four teams in Dota 2.

Earlier Alexander “TORONTOTOKYO” Hertek announced the actual change of his position in Dota 2.
