Topson criticized Valve for underdeveloping aspects and innate abilities

Topias "Topson" Taavitsainen thinks that aspects and innate abilities in Dota 2 are interesting mechanics, but he believes that these innovations still need to be actively balanced, because now some of them are useless or make the hero weaker.

The Tundra Esports mid shared the relevant opinion with the viewers of the official Twitch broadcast of the qualification for TI13.

"I like aspects and innate abilities. That said, they still need to be balanced. A lot of them make the hero weaker at all or simply useless. In those cases, you don't even have a choice. But in general, the mechanics are interesting. If some of them are strengthened or changed, we'll have more options suitable for different situations. But for the most part, one aspect is just better than the other."

Tundra Esports qualified for The International 2024 main tournament through a closed qualification in the Western Europe region. The team failed to win the upper grid final against Entity, but with two slots allocated for the region, Tundra Esports took a second chance at the lower grid final by defeating PSG Quest.
