PuckChamp roster manager «radiactivebaby» tweeted that the regional qualifiers for The International 10 will be played in a Double Elimination format.
The information about the format of the qualifiers for The International 2021 came. I like the grid. The importance of the DPC leagues increased even more. I can say that the leagues had a positive effect on the stage. In short, only teams from the DPC leagues, the upper and lower divisions, play. The upper div and the tops from lower div (if I correctly excluded the teams that will receive the invite) play in the upper bracket, the rest in the lower bracket. Needs 4 wins for team in upper bracket to pass, for lower - 6 wins. Playable.
The International 10 will be held from August 5 to 15 in Stockholm. Participants will compete for a prize pool of $40,000,000. The 12 best teams at the end of the Dota Pro Circuit 2021 will receive invites to The International 10, and another 6 slots will be raffled off at the regional qualifiers.
