After the Monster Hunter crossover released in Dota 2, players noticed that the new cosmetic mechanic with the dragon is ruining matches, revealing who takes the experience rune in the fog of war.
Users began massively complaining about this on social media.
The thing is, after the crossover release, if someone takes an experience rune, a huge dragon flies to that spot. Although this feature is purely cosmetic, it turned out that the dragon is visible even through the fog of war. In other words, you can see if an opponent takes the experience rune through the fog, just by noticing the dragon appearing.
Players note that this problem literally ruins matches, as it allows ganking the hero at the moment of picking up the rune or falling into a trap themselves. Valve is being asked to intervene and fix the situation in matchmaking as soon as possible.
Earlier, it was reported that Gabe Newell bought a huge yacht, where a LAN tournament for Dota 2 could be held.
