A few days ago, Valve developers reported on Twitter that The International 2020 prize pool broke last year's record, exceeding $34,330,068. And now we see that it has reached a significant new stage over $35,000,000.
However, it is completely unknown when The International 2020 will take place, but that didn't stop the Dota 2 gaming community from going far beyond what was achieved last year and setting a new record for the prize pool.

With 15 days left until the end of the Battle Pass, this prize pool is set to grow a bit further, given the expected arcana on Windranger and Immortal Treasure III. But it is unlikely that this will greatly increase the prize pool, and it is unlikely that the next $40 million milestone will be reached. Unfortunately, this also means that players will not receive another 10 free Battle Pass levels unless Valve changes plans.
At the moment, everyone is in anticipation of further messages from Valve about the return of the Dota 2 Pro Circuit or any information about The International 10 which has been postponed indefinitely.
