The International champion will play for Team Falcons instead of Malr1ne at PGL Wallachia Season 1

Last updated:  Nine Team Falcons

Leon "Nine" Kirilin, the Dota 2 world champion, will play as a stand-in for Team Falcons instead of Stanislav "Malr1ne" Potorak at PGL Wallachia Season 1.

Malr1ne himself announced this and will also train the stand-in. This statement was made during an interview with Alexey "STORM" Tumanov.

"Yes, Nine will be playing. I added him as a friend to help out. He hasn't played on the professional scene in a long time. Let's say I'm helping him with some questions and assisting with heroes. This is the minimum help I can provide to my team. Right now, I feel like some kind of bum: explaining to Nine and SumaiL how to play Dota 2”

Malr1ne was unable to obtain a visa, which led to his absence from the upcoming tournament. The club decided to replace him with the winner of The International 2022 and Skiter's friend, who will play as the team's midlaner for the duration of the tournament. It's worth noting that Skiter himself hinted at this replacement earlier, mentioning that Nine is already expecting them in the Romanian capital.

Recall that earlier, Alexey "STORM" Tumanov confirmed that Malr1ne could not obtain a visa for PGL Wallachia Season 1, so Team Falcons will have to compete with a stand-in.
