Tens of thousands of Dota 2 fans, as well as players from all over the globe, have gathered at Royal Arena to witness firsthand who will become the champion of TI13.

The spectacular presentation kicked off with the traditional greeting from Gabe "Gaben" Newell, delivering his most famous phrase – "Welcome to The International." This tradition has been a cornerstone of the event for many years, and many fans can’t imagine The International 2024 without this iconic welcome from the founder of Valve.

The stadium itself was decorated in Dota 2's signature style, creating an atmosphere of celebration. Fans, analysts, and esports athletes have been waiting all year for this event. This year, there’s a chance that one player may lift the Aegis for the third time, marking a historic moment for The International.

During the Road to The International 2023 stage, the top 8 teams were selected, and they will now fight for a chance to become the TI13 champions.
