Valve will be sending home the teams that lose at The International 2023 immediately

The organizers of TI12 have decided to cut costs on tickets for participants in the main Dota 2 esports event. Valve will be taking return tickets from The International 12 participants until October 23, even though the championship is set to conclude only on the 29th.

Dmitriy "Fishman" Polischuk, the captain of the Entity Gaming Dota 2 team, made this statement on the KD ALL IN YouTube channel.

"Valve wants to save money. They will be rebooking flights every two days. So if you lose, you're almost immediately flying back home"

This means that many teams won't be able to stay for the final stage of The International 2023.
