Valve changed the distribution of The International 2023 regional slots

Dota 2 developers Valve have changed the number of slots for regional qualifiers for The International 2023.
When The Bali Major 2023 concludes, 12 Dota Pro Circuit teams will be determined that will score the most DPC points. They will be invited to The International directly. The 8 remaining participants of the tournament will be determined in the regional qualifiers, which will take place in August.
The International 2023 Regional Qualifiers
- North America: August 17-21 (1 slot)
- Southeast Asia: August 17-21 (1 slot)
- China: August 22-26 (1 slot)
- Eastern Europe: August 22-26 (1 slot)
- South America: August 27-31 (2 slots)
- Western Europe: August 27-31 (2 slots)
Valve promised to give more details about the regional qualifiers for The International 2023 and the tournament itself in the coming weeks.
