Invictus Gaming vs Vici Gaming

The game day began with a Chinese derby. Vici took the meta pick: Tiny, Lina, Lion and Doom. IG responded by taking Ember Spirit and Wraith King under the buff from Magnus. The initial stage of the game was almost equal. It was unexpected for everyone when Invictus Gaming, having killed Roshan, simply forgot to take Aegis of the Immortal. As a result, old eLeVeN on Doom after a while picks up such an unexpected gift. In the 29th minute, iG unsuccessfully tries to demolish T3. On the 33rd minute, Vici Gaming takes a fight in their forest, killing four heroes and knocking out two buybacks, in exchange for Lina and Lion. After 5 minutes, a fight takes place on Roshan, where many heroes die and use buyback. At the end of the fight, Tiny and Doom die, who decided to just jump and die at the end. Thanks to this, Invictus Gaming demolish the center lane and begin to attack the top lane, forcing the opponent's cores to buyback. Vici managed to fight back, but lost Doom without a buyback. While IG were picking up their fourth Roshan, Emo on Ember Spirit decided to buy the Divine Rapier. Vici Gaming die twice near Roshan without buybacks and write GG.
On the second map, VG takes the Morphling + Earthshaker combo. Invictus Gaming responds with Doom, Spectre and Storm Spirit late picks for Emo. Vici are slowly starting to gain an advantage due to Morphling's farming. But the game is dragging on, which is beneficial for IG. At 34th minute, Morphling takes Aegis, but ends up dying along with Earthshaker and Leshrac. At 41th minute, IG kill four heroes and takedown T4. Two minutes later, VG start a fight in the enemy forest, in which both teams are left without buybacks. Invictus immediately goes towards the enemy base and, thanks to the excellent initiation from Emo and JT-, kill opponents. But instead of destroying the throne, iG decides to play it safe and kill Roshan. Left without two core heroes, Vici Gaming lost the match and dropped out of the tournament, finishing in 5th-6th place.
Team Secret vs PSG.LGD

Both teams started the first map rather measuredly. Nisha on Dragon Knight defeated NothingToSay on Puck. And thanks to this, he was able to farm an early Blink Dagger and put a vision with a team near the enemy outpost. This allowed Secret to pick up the early Roshan. That was the end of the good moments for Team Secret on the first map. Tiny killed MATUMBAMAN on Weaver in a second. And when Lycan got Aghanim's Scepter, there was nobody to stop the Chinese team. Ame on Tiny had no problem killing heroes on T3. Confident 1-0 from LGD
The second map was more equal. Secret took a comfortable pick, focused on aggressive mid gameplay through Ursa, Gyrocopter and Io. LGD decided to take a lot of physical damage and control. Puppey's plan worked well, as, according to the textbook, his team farmed the necessary slots, entered the Roshan and began to demolish the towers, capturing the map. Team Secret destroyed the towers on the top, but dived behind T2 and lost MATUMBAMAN with Aegis. Then there was a great fight in the mid-lane from Secret, after which they took Roshan. Team Secret were able to enter and destroy the lane, after which they retreated. LGD went in pursuit immediately. MATUMBAMAN decided to attack first and quickly kill Bane. But it didn't work out for him due to Faith_bian's excellent reaction on Legion Commander. As a result, LGD killed Ursa. Buyback and Secret take the third Roshan with Aghanim's Scepter. But it is very difficult for the Secret to enter the high ground. The Europeans are griping the enemy at the base and continue to build up their advantage. Realizing that they will not be able to enter, MATUMBAMAN decides to rush in and again pick up Bane and Legion Commander. He succeeds, but Secret is trying to help his core in one line up and XinQ on Elder Titan together with Ame on Monkey King killed the entire team of opponents and their chances of reaching the Grand Final in the upper bracket.
Team Spirit vs Invictus Gaming

The first map started with a signature Mars pick for Collapse in the first stage and unusual cores for Yatoro and TORONTOTOKYO: Phantom Assassin and Windranger. IG decided not to experiment and picked the aggressive meta heroes Void Spirit and Ursa. IG tried to crush opponents and impose fights, but the Spirit skillfully stretched them around the map and did not accept fights until the appearance of two Black King Bars on Phantom Assassin and Windranger. It is worth to pay tribute to Spirit`s cores, BKB appeared before 20 minutes. Thanks to them, the CIS team managed to carry out a great fight, which ended with an ultrakill for Yatoro. After that, the Phantom went off significantly on the networth and it was impossible to stop it. In one blink, Yatoro killed all IG heroes except Ursa. Collapse on Mars did not give Invictus Gaming a chance to wait out or kite BKB on PA. As a result: 1-0.
On the 2nd map, Team Spirit again decided to pick an unusual core, this time Drow Ranger. IG again went down the beaten path and took Faceless Void with Lina and a lot of control. The idea of iG was clear to the Spirit, Void was supposed to close the Drow Ranger in the Chronosphere, and Lina should shoot her. Spirit needed to prevent Lina from hitting the Chronosphere or force Faceless Void to put Chronosphere out of the Drow Ranger.
Thanks to the great play from Emo in the mid lane, IG were able to seize the lead and wanted to consolidate it by taking Roshan. Spirit reads this moment perfectly and with a little help from Roshan were able to grab Faceless Void and take Aegis for themselves. Aegis, unfortunately, did not give them anything, since iG was able to catch Drow Ranger in the top after a couple of minutes, after which they went to farm. After collecting 2 BKB and Linken's Sphere on Lina. IG were able to do a great counter-initiation by taking Doom and Disruptor. Void began to pursue opponents further, but missed the Chronosphere, after which he died under the silence of the Drow Ranger. This helped Team Spirit take the lead. IG tried to play it back and implement their idea with the Chronosphere and damage from Lina. But TORONTOTOKYO on Dragon Knight jumped into it in every fight and zoned, not allowing to approach. In a fight on Roshan, Invictus Gaming managed to steal a refresher, but even two Chronosphere from Faceless Void was not enough to pick up enemy heroes, especially with aegis. Void had to collect Black King Bar and Linken's Sphere, but he didn't manage to farm the damage slots. The end was nearly caused by Yatoro with a great Rampage on Drow Ranger. 2-0 and minimum top 3 for Team Spirit.
