Team Spirit has revealed the reason for the failure of the top teams' performance at The International 2023

The sudden patch 7.34d released six days before the start of TI12 came as a surprise to esports players, which explains the poor performance of many tournament favorites.

This statement was made by Dmitry "Korb3n" Belov, the manager of Team Spirit, in a post on his Telegram.

"I think the unexpected results are not due to the tournament format but rather the patch released six days before the start. If you look at DreamLeague and TI, you'll see that the meta has completely changed. I believe that closer to the finals, most teams will regain their composure, and the surprises will come to an end"

He believes that the teams need a little more time, and by the end of the tournament, esports players will once again demonstrate their usual gaming mastery.

It's worth noting that Team Spirit has had a successful winning streak at The International 2023 Dota 2 Championship. Currently, the team has secured victory in 10 matches at the event, which is one of the best results in the history of TI.
