Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov believes that Ilya “Kiritych~” Ulyanov will not be playing on the Dota 2 pro scene in the near future, and will focus his efforts on streaming due to the failures of the previous roster.
The
Team Spirit manager shared the relevant opinion on Twitch.
“Kiritych had a lineup, but something went wrong. It's the same as always. Did not
agreed, then something changed and so on. As it was, Kiritych could have played in the lineup. While he won't play anywhere, he'll be streaming, I guess.”
Ilya “Kiritych” Ulyanov played for
Virtus.pro for just under two years until he was transferred to the cybersport club's inactive roster from the main roster earlier this year, losing his spot on the team to Lash “Nande” Narcia. Nevertheless, with Kiritych in the first position, the team never managed to achieve meaningful results, rising no higher than the top-8 at tier-1 tournaments.
Recall that yesterday
Virtus.pro officially announced the departure of Ilya “Kiritych” Ulyanov from the organization, and the player himself stated that he was looking for a new team.
