Team Spirit have withdrawn from ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 due to health problems of the team members.

The corresponding statement was published in the Telegram channel of the team.

“We regret to announce that our DOTA roster will not be able to participate in ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023.

After returning from the US, several of our players will need to undergo medical examinations, which may be followed by treatment"

The club's management did not specify who exactly may need treatment. Nevertheless, the tournament organisers immediately responded to Team Spirit's message and announced that the available slot will be given to WEU closed qualifications.
