A Team Spirit streamer admitted to betting on his own team's losses

Ilya "Illidan" Pivtsaev, a Team Spirit streamer, admitted that he sometimes bets on his team losing, but only in exceptional cases.

He made this statement during a joint Twitch stream with Ilya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk.

"I don't like betting against Spirit. It's very rare, only when I see that it's absolutely impossible (to win) in my understanding. And if I see they might lose, but it doesn’t mean they’re ****..."

According to Illidan, he doesn’t like betting against Team Spirit and only does it when he sees that the team is guaranteed to lose. Even if there’s a small chance of victory for TS, he doesn't place a bet, the streamer emphasized.

How exactly he determines the world champions' chances of winning was not clarified by the former esports player.

It's worth noting that another Team Spirit player recently hinted that they might go inactive.
